Byrne Contractors is an established groundworks and civil engineering contractor based in Kent, delivering projects across the residential, commercial and industrial sectors.

With more than 60 years of experience, we have built our reputation on reliable delivery, strong working relationships and a practical approach to construction. From initial site preparation through to final external works, our team has the experience, resources and technical capability to manage complex groundworks packages from start to finish.

Today, Byrne Contractors employs a team of around 60 people across site management, engineering, quantity surveying, plant operations and groundworks, giving us the capability to deliver projects of varying scale while maintaining the hands-on approach our clients have come to expect.

What We Do

We provide a comprehensive groundworks and civil engineering service, supporting developers, main contractors and commercial clients throughout every stage of their projects.

Our capabilities include site clearance and enabling works, bulk excavation and earthworks, foundations and substructures, drainage and underground services, roads and sewers, concrete works, hard standings and external works.

By combining experienced site teams with in-house management and engineering support, we are able to plan, coordinate and deliver packages efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
